How long does BOTOX last?

While BOTOX is quickly administered, the results are temporary and will require retreatment. On average, BOTOX lasts for about three to four months.

If you don’t undergo retreatment, the effects of this cosmetic procedure will wear off, and the underlying facial structures return to normal.

What can I expect during treatment?

BOTOX is injected into the appropriate facial muscles, which can last about 5 minutes. It blocks the transmitters between the motor nerve that controls the muscle, stopping the muscle from contracting. That’s when the magic happens, and the skin starts to smooth out. In about 3–10 days, the skin becomes nice and smooth

Are there any adverse reactions?
