New Patients

Welcome to Juanita Bay Dentist!

Thank you for selecting us as your dental care provider. Before your first appointment, we will email you a link to our new patient forms.

Please complete those in advance of your appointment and bring your insurance card with you. If you had X-rays taken recently, please have those sent to our office prior to your appointment so we’re not duplicating them.

What to Expect

Due to COVID-19, we are asking patients to wait in their car until it’s their appointment time. We aim to see you promptly because we respect your time.

When you come in we will greet you at the front desk. If you have any missing paperwork we will have you complete that. We also will take a photocopy of your insurance card. You will kindly be asked to sanitize your hands with the provided hand sanitizer.

Before one of our dental hygienists takes you back, we will take your temperature. You will be asked to keep your mask on until told otherwise.

You’ll then be given an oral rinse to swish for 30 seconds before your treatment begins. The first new patient appointment includes an exam, X-rays and a cleaning, which takes about 90 minutes. In some cases, we may break up the new patient treatment into two appointments.

After your treatment, you will be escorted to the front desk to reschedule for any further appointments. If you have any questions at this time we are happy to answer them.
